It seems almost sacrilegious for that to be in the same room as Misery Loves Comedy

Is it terribly wrong to think that Kieron Gillen might actually have a lot of fun using the Iron Teen character? He's already got Iron Man 2020 in the book now...

Also, will you be working on memorial columns for lady Yellowjacket and Gilgamesh the Forgotten One? Two avengers that have never, EVER come back?

Did they commission new cover art for that? They should have just used the wraparound cover from "Avengers: The Crossing #1" and of course printed it shiny.

There were two covers for the book - the one i have is the new one, I think the other version is that cover, or another spread from the same. I have to check.

I like a lot of what Kieron Gillen's done, but at this point there should probably be a restraining order preventing him from writing any more teen characters. The more of them he writes, the more he sounds like a middle-aged robot trying to talk cool like the kids.

But Tim, you should totally, totally do an extensive series of posts on The Crossing - or better yet, on the entire 90s era matching-jackets Avengers.

Oh yeah, here's the old one in all it's Deodato-y "goodness." http://milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action=fullsize&issue=06681639968%201%20DEODATO
