7. As if . . . we were destined to meet.

And thus begins Nate's long courtship of the woman who was kind-of, sort-of his mother. And no, that's not a joke. This is a woman who is genetically his mother even if she's only a psychic projection of the clone of the woman who was the 616 doppelgänger of the Jean Grey from the Age of Apocalypse - you know, this is why people fucking hate X-Man.
